The Startup team consists of the owner's rep, startup manager, commissioning specialists, plant operations personnel, and dedicated construction personnel (electricians, millwrights, pipefitters, instrument fitters).
- Prepare systems turnover packages
- Prioritize systems
- Transition construction from area concept to prioritized systems concept
- Identify and schedule 3rd party cleaning and flushing contractors, or supervise if this falls under the scope of the construction contractor
- Schedule and coordinate outside utilities
- Receive and tag out completed systems from contractor
- Pre-commission turned over systems equipment, instrumentation, piping, and controls
- Train operations personnel
- Commission systems as prioritized with plant operators
- Prepare turnover packages for the owner/operator
- Assist the owner/operator in going commercial
